The exposed beams are set off by the whiteness of the stonework. 20 minutes from Tours, nested in the centre of the lovely little town of Azay-le-Rideau, and just 150m away from its famous and charming chateau, the Grand Monarque, certified Green Key site, is ideally situated to visit the Loire Valley and its greatest castles : Villandry, Langeais, Chinon, Amboise et Chenonceau. For a weekend or more, as a couple or as part of a small group, you might also be tempted by a visit to the nearby vineyards of Chinon, Bourgueil, and Azay-le-Rideau. Our wine bar offers a choice of wines by the glass from the region or elsewhere. You can discover our local grape varieties, Chenin, Sauvignon, Grolleau, Côt, Cabernet Franc or those from other regions. Our bar in the lounge, or from spring on the terrace, are at your disposal to relax throughout the day. From 11 a.m. to 9.30 p.m. Many restaurants, from traditional to gourmet cuisine, could welcome you in the centre of Azay-le-Rideau.
