About the hotel
Come and experience the haunted cellar in the Store Restrup manor house. The ghost is Herr Iver, looking for the large amount of gold that is said to be hidden in the cellar. Legend says that Herr Iver is never going to find what he is looking for. Apparently the treasure will not be found until the manor house burns down. It is also said that a woman walks through Store Restrup. She is a beautiful, kind lady who loves small children and kisses them gently on the forehead to make sure they are not afraid of her. The manor house is steeped in history, including tapestries from Napoleonic times! It has its own restaurant where you can eat a delicious dinner. Every room has a four-poster bed and its own charm. There is also wine tasting in the hotel's own wine cellar every Saturday. A golf course is 3 km away.
