Crawford's Beach Lodge

This beach hotel is nestled in the middle of the beautiful Chintsa Bay on the Wild Coast, surrounded by rolling hills, lush tropical beach forests and overlooking the warm Indian Ocean. Situated at the gateway of the Wild Coast, the hotel is approximately 42 km from East London, the surfside city famous for its Nahoon Reef. Guests will find restaurants, bars and the beach on the hotel's doorstep, while Chintsa Forest and the Chintsa River are both around 500 m away.

Set along the magical Wild Coast, the lodge offers barefoot luxury and elegant thatched accommodation for the most judicious of travellers looking for fun, sun and relaxation. Renovated in 2009, the lodge offers 30 rooms which consist of double and twin bedrooms, and some of which have their own private balcony overlooking the sea. Facilities available to guests in the air-conditioned beach hotel include a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, games room, TV lounge, children's playground and a bar, pub and restaurant. Guests may also make use of the conference facilities, WLAN Internet access, room and laundry services, a car park and a bicycle hire service.

Each room features an en suite bathroom with shower, bathtub and hairdryer, a king-size bed, a kitchenette with mini fridge and tea and coffee making facilities and a private balcony or terrace.
