Skyum Østerstrand is a beautiful hilly area with many Bronze Age burial mounds. From this beautiful vacation home opens a magnificent view of the Limfjord, which attracts bathers and windsurfers alike. The North Sea is also only 20 km away. Here you will find a child-friendly beach, playgrounds and a petanque court. Not far away is Thisted, a good trading town, where during the summer there are, among other things, sailing trips on vintage ships, open-air shows, seal safari, exhibitions and all kinds of activities in the Thisted Museum. The many beautifully restored old buildings have earned the town the Europa Nostra award, among other recognitions. The lively and beautifully situated fishing port of Hanstholm is also a recommended destination.
The adventure park Jesperhus on the island of Mors is also popular with young and old.
